Are You Professional, Intellectual, and Saved?

We at FellowshipEvents.com hope to use this forum to discuss Christian issues affecting young urban professionals. So in an effort to get the conversation started, we are beginning our new blog with a few questions.

Do you find it difficult to balance your Christian faith with your professional life? How do you handle working with colleagues who are vocal about attitudes/lifestyles that differ from your Bible-based beliefs? What about witnessing on the job – are you ever concerned about being labeled a “Holy Roller?”

Give us your thoughts...

I just try to be a light. I don't beat anybody over the head with my beliefs, but I try to encourage people to do the right thing (ethics) and I will talk about God when the opportunity arises. Mostly, I try to live in a way that when I do talk to people about God, that they will believe the God-talk coming from me.

Pastor MW French:

In the 21st century, those saved, professional and intellectual saints have an excellent opportunity to win the world for Christ. The apostle Paul said that "I became all things to all men that I might win some."
Remember, God invented technology.
So we can use our gifts and talents in the venues where we are and reach those persons in our sphere of influence. It may be in the hospital, courtroom, classroom, on the battlefield, in the neighborhood, etc.
